Developing Your Personal GDP

Developing-Your-Personal-GDP

You know GDP as Gross Domestic Product. GDP is a representation of the value of the goods and services made within a country. It’s typically measured over a given quarter or year. For example, the GDP in the US was $21.43 trillion in 2019. When you’re examining an annual GDP rate, it’s the sum of everything that took place that year that adds up to the total.

At Winter-Dent, we look at GDP a little differently. While we’re adding up everything you’ve done in the past year, we’re also helping you with your personal GDP for the long-term as part of our personal and commercial risk management program.

To minimize risk and amplify return, Winter-Dent provides a comprehensive framework to explore and guide you with solutions for your financial goals.

In our world, GDP means:

  • G = Grow Assets
  • D = Distribution of Assets
  • P = Protection of Assets

We provide a holistic solution to help you achieve your personal GDP.

Some companies just sell insurance. Others just provide financial planning. We believe you need both of these solutions. It’s kind of like seeing two different doctors but never sharing your medical records. You wouldn’t want one doctor treating you without having a comprehensive understanding of your medical history.

Grow Assets

Based on your risk tolerance and retirement timeline, we create appropriate investing strategies. Each strategy is uniquely constructed to meet your financial goals. This can be different for each person.

The traditional advice is to take bigger risks when you’re young and slowly move to more conservative strategies as you age. We don’t believe in a cookie-cutter approach. We will work together to design the right approach that fits your level of comfort.

Distribution of Assets

The overall goal of any asset management strategy is to give you the peace of mind that you’ll have the money you need when it’s time to retire. We will help you identify the best way to draw down assets.

We’ll examine the role that Social Security and different investment vehicles play in generating the income you need and the best place to access capital when needed. It can make a big difference in where you take the money and when you take the money. It also has significant tax implications.

We’ll provide expert advice to make the best decisions and establish a reasonable income stream so you can meet your financial goals.

Protection of Assets

You work hard to take care of yourself and your family. You want to protect the assets you’ve accumulated and prepare for situations that might negatively impact them.

We produce insurance products to protect the income-earners and their family. This includes products such as life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care to make sure your most precious assets are protected.

Our goal is to help you achieve and protect the assets you accumulate over time. As you age, we can help you transition and ensure your money is invested in the right investments for your stage of life.

Financial Solutions for Every Phase of Life

You may not be thinking about retirement when you’re in your 30s or 40s, but you should be making sure your financial strategy is aligned with your goals. As you hit peak earning years, it’s important to invest wisely and make sure you protect what you’re earning.

A study by the Economic Policy Institute reported that the average American age 56 to 61 had accumulated just $21,000 in their 401(k).  Even pared with social security, that’s usually not enough to manage average expenses for a year.

The time to act is now.

Winter-Dent provides solutions for the different phases of your financial life, making your program is healthy and in peak condition. It’s ultimately the most effective way of helping you reach your financial goals.

Our goal?  Help you develop your personal GDP:  Grow, Distribute, and Protect your assets.

At Winter-Dent, tell us where you want to go and we will work with you to help design a strategy to get you there. We want to be part of your success!
